If you like to have a beer occasionally, keep your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your handbag, your money belt, and leave all cash, charge cards and cheques at home. Grab whatever cash you intend to use on beverages, tips and only the pocket change you expect to burn and keep the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You might have a profit following a inebriated night out with your acquaintances and be blessed sufficiently to hit a long toss at a hot craps game. Hang on to that adventure considering that it is as brief as it gets if you consistently consume alcohol and wager. The two just don’t mix.
Keeping your money back at the hotel might be a bit drastic, but precautionary actions for drastic behavior is required. If you gamble to win, then do not drink and gamble. If you like to be wasteful with your cash without a concern, then consume all the no charge alcohol you can handle, but do not pack plastic credit and checks to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your bombed brain loses every little thing!
Allow me to take this 1 step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump online to play in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my abode, however considering that I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards near by, I can not consume alcohol and gamble.
Why? Even though I don’t drink a lot, once I drink alcohol, it’s clearly sufficient to cloud my better judgment. I gamble, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet when you do. Both create a dangerous, and costly, drink.
