First to clarify the reason I wrote this essay. I have been wagering on the net or at land-based betting houses for many years. I have discovered, the addiction can grab a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are bankrupt. Particularly if you’re on a winning run. I’ve gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in only a short amount of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go too far. It appears you are just having a blast until you start to track your defeats and the guilt settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" repeatedly. It never works. Then you become queasy in your belly and the harder you attempt the quicker you lose.
When you notice that you are ahead, STAY on the UP! When you start to be beaten, don’t tell yourself, "well perhaps one more" and over and over again, trust me, this plan almost never ever functions. Say you’re playing on slots, have a bankroll put aside before beginning your action. DO NOT go over that limit, no matter how alluring. If you happen to succeed, put that in a separate pot. Don’t use your wins no matter what. As soon as you’ve gone through your primary set limit, call it a day. Head out, regardless if it’s on the internet or at a brick and mortar casino, don’t stay around. Always remember, there will be another day, a different time.
Keep in mind, wagering is supposed to be exciting not exhausting, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcannot afford the loss, do not even start.
